Teen Nation is a nonprofit organization that provides a creative outlet in the form of media arts, and professional development programs for teens in the Chicago area.

The mission of Teen Nation is to facilitate the educational and artistic development of teens who are interested in exploring the fields of arts, media, entertainment, and community outreach.

Our goal is to demonstrate healthy transitions for teens coming into early adulthood by exposing them to real world experiences in the workforce through the development of their own media and being an intricate part of the strategic direction of the organization. Teen Nation puts teens in leadership positions, implements their ideas and allows them to be involved in the business.

In addition, we provide platforms for teens to address their barriers to achievement which include poverty, unemployment, lack of opportunities, inadequate schools and support systems. Teen Nation Inc. is driven by the desire to improve the lives of Chicago teens, and is fueled by the tremendous needs of teens living in underserved communities.
